    there is one button that i have no idea what it does. Anyone know?

    ECT = Electronic Controled Transmision

    Its kinda Toyotas version of everyone elses "Tow/Haul" mode.

    This button just changes the shift pattern of the transmission. Using the normal mode will let the transmission shift while the engine is at lower speeds. Using the power mode will let the transmission shift while the engine is a higher speeds. Usually used when pulling trailers. If you have your owners manual it will explain or google the term ECT.:)

    ECT is great! Been messing with it for the last few months and I've noticed a slight improvement in highway mpg's and you can definitely feel the truck has more power at higher speeds and on hills. It was intended to be used when towing which is why I never used it before. I know there are a few threads around here somewhere explaining it...

    i think there awesome. my whole family drives toyota so i joined the club. I have 327000 kms on it and it runs like new. i wouldnt buy any other truck.
