    Taking the console out won't hurt your warranty one bit. And as others have posted, it's pretty easy to do.

    its clear as day that something burned it.. dont look like it was a defect that happened on its own.. the leather on the boot proves that.. now where did it come from and from what..

    if you break it down by who was in your car and who had access then you would find the answer.

    Sun hits the chrome trim piece reflecting it into the windshield and windshield reflects it back, blasts the console. Can only be replicated at a certain time/orientation of truck to the sun. I dropped my mic like two pages ago so I'm just gonna sit here and stare at y'all.

    I had similar burn marks across the seat of one of my old motorcycles when I would park it outside. It was a reflection of the sun off of the mirror that did it.
