Shots of it this morning sitting on the expos, it has 600-700 lbs. in the bed recovery bag, toolbox, 4-34" tires on steel wheels with my spare and swingout mounted to settle the springs a little. The plan is drive it where its sits for next few days and see how it works.

think you'll have to do anymore trimming with the added flex??

 

I think the rear is good, the front clears at full stuff on the bumps with the wheels straight but I think it may be time to tub.

 

yea looked like the fronts where close..all depends on it at full lock and flexed..

time will tell

I played around with the ORI's again was able to pick up a little more down travel set the driver @ 100 lower 1000 upper-passenger @ 100 lower 900 upper. I kicked on the VSC, ABS and parking brake light rallying around on some dirt roads this afternoon thinking its an alignment, zero calibration or a stretched wire issue so I'll need to track that down.

 

Uh oh...

 

Got an alignment this morning and zeroed everything but had a code pop again for the passenger rear wheel sensor so guessing that's it. Now to figure out if its the actual wheel sensor or a stretched wire?

Otherwise the truck drives great, I'm liking the new suspension feels super solid, corners well and has good articulation. Its not even broke in yet so I'm thinking it will only get better with time.

 

sensors are wireless..so not sure wth is going on..aren't then in the stem??

Can't wait to see this think flexed out like crazy on some rad rock formation.

 

ABS wheel sensor, not TPMS I ditched those years ago and covered the light with an ARB sticker.

I'm looking forward to flexing this thing, I'm stoked on the ORI's but don't want to over-hype them as long as they are better than the OME 886's (which they already are IMO) I'll be happy with them.

 

ahhhh gotcha..hmmm..how is your exhaust chopped might i ask? I had a buddy that had his chopped in a way that it was pointed at the axle..ended melting the ABS harness..

I like the sound of that. I am running 886's on 5100's right now.

 

Its dumped on the back side of the axle so I'll take a look at it you never know with moving the axle back with expos. I had an issue with it after unplugging to weld the new shock tabs but cleaned the connection up and it worked fine after that.

 

Dumped about like mine then.

Had time after work tonight to take a look at the passenger rear wheel sensor that was throwing a code and put a set of 1" Bora spacers on the rear. When I pulled the 10mm sensor nut the whole stud came out with it, re-set the stud cleaned everything up and put it back together. Started installing the spacers get the bag of nuts out that they forgot to send me originally (nuts showed up yesterday) and 6 of the nuts are the wrong size......slapped the rear tire on and run to Napa. I just had to be the guy that shows up at 5 minutes till closing time, the ABS light cleared itself on the drive there and they had 6 nuts so it all worked out. The spacers look good and should have plenty of clearance now from the shock body tire was hitting as it starts to bump out.
