    Thanks
    Thanks
You can check it out when I come down to NM.
    Thanks

Currently on hold through the weekend, I'm hoping to gain access to a pit or lift early next week to get it finished up.

About 4 hrs a fender roughly, They used adhesive and are plastic welded on the inside and outside the filler is covering the welds on the exterior of the flare the plan is to finish them with speed coat liner. I am going to help with the rear fenders to help cut some labor costs and learn something while I'm at it. Thanks again for the info and advice you gave me it was a huge help.

Here are a few more pics we are still a ways out from them being completely done.

Definitely my favorite second gen I've seen on this site so far. I have a first gen regular cab, not going to do any mods. Gonna save in order to get my hands on a second gen access cab, 4 cyl, 5 spd, 4x4. . . Nice truck man, great work

How do you like the MTR's so far? I'm mainly interested in how they are on snow covered roads, pavement and deep snow. All around review would be nice too. I think I might be changing the KM2's out for MTR's.

That'd be awesome. I'm going to be purchasing some within the next couple weeks. If you have coups I'd appreciate it very much. I'll even give you some rep :headbang:

Good to hear. Luckily I don't have to worry about the white letters with 35's.

Looking good. I'll have to go wheelin' in Idaho with you.

Thanks, going to use a bedliner/truck coating in black.

Thanks, why not build your reg. cab? its sitting in the driveway, I figure work on what you got. The reg cabs are great wheeling rigs and lots of parts and knowledge are available.

I love these tires best all around performing mud terrain I have owned and I have gone through a lot of different tires. I plan on a set for my FJ 40 if that helps, I think they stop/start in the ice better than most A/Ts, I will be rotating soon close to @5K on them and look at the wear but all in all they are a step well above the KM2's. Lrgrnr and Mr.TRD posts below sums them up pretty well too.

I don't have white letters, and I heard that the ones coming out now don't have white letters anymore.
We have these on a bunch of our work trucks they are all mounted white letters in, miles on these tires range between 10K-20K they are holding up great with no flats in 2 years. I like the way they look mounted the recommended way but think they are fine the other way. Any way you mount them they will still be symetrical (the tread pattern/direction matches on opposite corners). I have spent to much time staring and trying to figure them out that is the best description I can come up with.

I'll take you up on a coupon I plan on getting a set for my FJ 40.

Cool, will do and we have a local G/Y dealer that is really good to deal with.
How is your FJ case going? Did you get the Ebay one? If not I may know of another case for you local guy here swapped an Atlas into his FJ not sure if he has his old case but I can find out.

This is where I am at on the FJ case, and some photos of the swap. It is pretty straight forward unbolt old case.

We test fit the new case and marked where the levers needed to come through. Then cut....

You will need to swap sensors and some other items. Here is Wyatts write-up from RST that I studied prior to this undertaking.

Here it is the case with cut shifters.

Here it is with levers in place they aren't perfect but works for now, I have plans for a different set up that should work better for a cleaner finish.

Still need to wire the front ADD to a switch and disconnect the 4wd ECU but am waiting for some more info to get here before I mess with it.

I'm a, somewhat broke, full-time student for another 3 semesters. So, I don't really have the resources or time to build my regular cab. Also, I'm a bigger guy so that acces cab will be really nice to have  Just gonna be patient, save the money and get me my access cab in a couple years.

I can understand that, I'm to tall for the reg cabs as well and I like the way the access cab looks.

Just got off the phone with Wyatt he was going to give you a call about how you set up your ADD switch and ask if you would pass that info on to me. He got me lined out on everything else for the sensors and 4wd ECU.
