I will be calling the vendors in the AM and giving them one last chance on giving me an ETA for those that were a part of the original second half of orders from the last few weeks that included Smart Modules. If I don’t hear anything fruitful, your remote starters will be going out (Shipped Free) this week and you will have the following options:

Option 1 - wait for the smart module to arrive, and they will ship free immediately as well, you get to keep your sale price paid. Must live with an unknown ETA at the moment but your patience will be rewarded I’m the forms of the savings I’ve already given you, and two part shipment for free. My responsibility at this point. I don’t want to hang on to any of your stuff any longer, it kills me to see them on the shelves almost ready to go. I want them out of sight.

Option 2 - get a refund, but bear in mind, when they do come, and they will, and it could be at any moment, there is no honoring any sale price once you tap out.

No need to inform me of anything other than wanting a refund on the Smart module. I will inform you all of what I hear back tomorrow.

In the meantime, status on the Smart Module will be changed to out of stock as to not allow anymore orders to come through.

 

@jayrobot - If nobody has yet called dibs on the H-Key manual documentation, I'd love to write one for you. Technical documentation is part of my job, so I think i can do a really great one for you!

what is involved in adding the 4G module to an already installed Fortin EVO-all hardware Vr6 Firmware Vr 4.18 unit on an automatic PTS system? the range on the factory keyfob and the construction of my house combine to make the remote start function darn near useless unless I open the door, and that kinda defeats the purpose.

and will you have extra after fulfilling all the previous orders

 

Nothing to it, unit plugs into the remote starter directly, small programming sequence like for the FOB and great written instruction included, written by me

I’ll have plenty after taking care of the backordered folks. I made sure this doesn’t happen again, so I spent 5 figures worth to ensure this. Somehow though TW and google find a way to run me dry so I have a process in place to replenish halfway through depletion now so at least if there are issues, I have time to compensate. Its the two sales here alone that killed me.

PTS - So far I got a two man team on PTS with smart module collaborating on written AND video. I’ve added Smart Module to thier tasks for another $50. Each is getting $200 for this.

HKEY MT - I’ve got one member doing both written and video for this. No smart module. He’s getting $150.

- I STILL NEED A VOLUNTEER FOR HKEY AT, PREFERABLY WITH SMART MODULE FOR BOTH WRITTEN AND VIDEO INSTALL GUIDES. NO WRITTEN GUIDE NEEDED FOR SMART MODULE PORTION HERE, JUST VIDEO. Compensation here is $150 of no smart module guides provided. But if you have an HKEY Auto and are interested in doing the write up and video, but don’t have a smart module and was contemplating one or have Black Friday buyers remorse, I will offer you one, FOR FREE, this IS your compensation for a written and video guide for both HKEY AT and smart module. Must be able to produce quality work, diligent and detail oriented and take guidance well. Crappy work is not compensated but I will work on edits and revisions with you until we get it right so you ARE NOT on your own here.

 

Installed my smart key today. Super easy. Took about 40 min all said and done. Great product. My days of getting bundled up to start my vehicle are over. Thanks.

 

Installed the remote start and smart module on my 2016 TRD Off Road with PTS in about an hour. Followed the video for the remote start and everything worked great. Instructions are a little dated since you clean up the wiring. Moved on to the smart module and that was just as easy. Had to work through which video to watch since I couldn't find and EA or EO in any of the numbers in the module. Watched one of them and everything matched up. Tested everything before putting any panels back on.

It took an hour because I went very slowly and kept rewinding and making sure everything was right before moving on to the next step. I like how you cleaned up the wiring with the wrap.

Attention, those with my 2 to 2 TPMS splice clamp connectors. Here is another way to do it so that it’s no longer tight. There is no polarity so don’t worry about which color goes where. Thanks to @TacoLlama for his creativity and ingenuity.
