The side mirror heater won’t work though will it? It seems like it’s just a button but wasn’t sure if they’d come on when I start it if I hit it when I get out

 

Did the 4G work in Bin Laden’s cave where you’re at? I don’t recall if you picked one up or not - I know you were in the fence about it...

 

I’ve never tested those. The best way to find out is to turn your truck’s engine on manually, hit the button for ‘em, turn the engine off, remove the key or if PTS, exit the vehicle and lock it and then get back in an turn the engine on again. If they’re on when you turn the engine on again for a second time, they’ll be on if you leave them on before you turn your engine off, which means they’ll be on for a remote start too. Great point. Let us know Aaron, I’m too lazy and tired to try. It’s raining bullets here so I’ve got business related purchasing to do from my cozy dining room now or else of it were summer I’d be out there in a heart beat in my boxers no shame testing it now. My neighbors love it...and if they didn’t I’d still do it no shame...not getting dressed for a 15 second experiment.

It took only 15 minutes to install your Remote start on my 2018 Avalon everything is working great. Thanks Jimmy you are really go a distance for customer service.

The heat (or AC) and heated seats will remember their last setting from when you turned off the truck, but the heated mirrors won’t.....they even actually time out after you’ve turned them on

 

That’s what I was thinking. Just wasn’t sure if I pressed it then turned the truck off right after if that could work

Well, thanks for the results on our little science experiment fellas! Now we know...but then again, oh well, who cares...no loss since we never had it before anyways! I think preventing my (your) a$$ fusing (I mean freezing) on to the leather seats is far more important than seeing $hit in front of me (you)...I can focus on not seeing a lot better if I'm not hypodermic ya know, but I can't do both.

Got a call from my dealership to have me come in, they want me to take a survey. Sales guy recently asked if I was still interested in a remote start, I asked for a price and he told me $950.00 installed - I choked on my beer.

I told him I actually got a full plug n play system with 4g cellular support for under $400.00 shipped. The guy asked if I could bring a business card because the dealership has been looking for a 4g style. So I’ll be bringing the card that was in the box for him, maybe if they buy some you can buy me a
