Has anyone affixed their old name tapes to the headliner? How'd you do it? Saw some patches posted and thought about starting my collection with something I already had handy.

    Happy birthday Marines!

Different service, but with the Army's recent penchant for velcro, I used the headliner of my truck to keep a complete spare set of name tapes, US Army tape, and patches in case I lost something at work.

I'm still on terminal leave, but for some reason I still have them up there.

To answer your how--hook velcro works.

Thanks for the idea! probably easier than trying to do an iron on backing like I was looking at.

Avoid the iron on and sticky crap. Buy hook Velcro and sew it around the perimeter of the name tape.
