I think I've seen your truck a few times on my way down to SC. Good looking rig!

BTW you'll probably be glad for the misscut and the extra space between the bumper and body. Things tend to flex quite a bit when you get off-road and/or lay the bumper against things.

Appreciate it! Hope to see you around, will be on the look out. Truck doesn't get out much with my work schedule. Funny you say that about the bumper cover cut. Just literally picked up a new cover and some used flares. That Brute Force bumper sits really far out from the bumper cover. So essentially it tucks behind it. So the clearance is there front to back for any body movement I believe. Going to re cut about an 1" lower along with the flares. Already had the headlights out to paint the bezels and switchbacks. Figured I might as well make it right

Almost got it wrapped up. Headlights are finished and seem to function properly. Diode Dynamics switchbacks and satin black bezels

That's cool. BFF makes some good stuff. Oh if you are so inclined I went and painted all the body and bracing behind the bumper black. Makes it look a lot cleaner not seeing silver poke through in areas. Blended all that stuff that's behind the stock bumper cover into the bumper so to speak.

Don't give me anymore ideas  I do like the sound of that a lot though. I may try and do that before I go back together. Trying to get the truck ready for a quick trip back to the mountains this weekend

It took me like all of 30 mins. Some flat black enamel, painters tape, newspaper, go to town. Takes longer to tape off the body than it does to paint the stuff. BTW don't even worry with taping off any of the coolers it won't hurt to get some paint on them and you won't even be able to tell. Just tape the body off.

I saw your truck out there didn't realize you were there. We had a good time headed back to windrock in Nov for another 4 days of wheeling.

We we're there from Thurs to Sunday. Didn't camp, but had a cabin off windrock property. Was an absolute blast and couldn't beat the weather. I saw that thread today...wish I could make it. Back to the reality of work again.

Thought it was university exit, but just caught a glimpse heading south bound. Best of luck with the sale!

Joined the 35's crew. A lot more cutting to do, but its driveable. Hacked the cab mount more. Will end up with 2" fender cut and re use cut flares.

Appreciate it! Yup, 3.5" bs and -38mm offset. Like the added width and extra clearance. But, of course it comes with headaches. Still have the finish trimming fenders/flares. Body mount got its 2nd chop and forward caster is set at 4*. Its going to take some work...

who does your alignments? I haven’t found a good place around here yet.

I have 4.5” BS wheels with a 1.25” spacer, so I’m really at 3.25” BS.

I’m just gonna go ahead and do a cab mount relocate. Also going to run 3/8” spacers for my superbumps to try and limit up travel to avoid having to trim the fenders. I’ll probably end up having to at some point though.
