Does anyone know the part number for the ACDC relay? I was a little too aggressive putting it back in and ruined it.

Can’t help with p/n, but I trimmed the blade connector then bent it alittle and placed it beside the female receptor of the inverter relay. Hope that makes sense.

I did this on my 2012. I swapped wires for the Air Pump HTR for power when key is on. Well last camping trip, fog lights turned themselves on with truck off and keys in my pocket:eek:. Does this circuit randomly energize on its own for emissions or some other purpose? Anybody else experience this?

quite possible. You have a TRD OR, why not use the AC/DC relay switched power considering we know its switched on and off 100% of the time with the key.

Thanks. I've gotten good at remembering to turn them off now. But the AC/DC source will give me piece of mind. I'll go this route now. Makes me wonder how many time this happened after I parked in garage. Only noticed this time because it lit up campsite. They turned on roughly 10-15 minutes after I parked truck.

One night it did this when my neighbor was walking her dog
Scared the s##t out of her
On my 14 I ran it to the AC relay

will this mod allow me to use the factory fog switch ONLY when the ignition is turned on? i don’t want to have to remember to turn the lights off every time i shut off the truck.

No.... in typical 3rd gen fashion they have over-complicated everything.... What used to be a simple switched ground on the dash with a 12v line based off of a low beam light.... is now a ground switched Fog relay by the ECU which determines if its OK or not to ground out the relay regardless of the switch position on the stalk. There is a 3rd gen fog light anytime mod, but you are gonna be cutting the harness.

I did this mod last night. Had to be able to test my KC fogs without my headlights!
