Maybe I’m doing something wrong but in my 15 TRD OR I have things wired as they should be but the fogs aren’t coming on at all. It worked initially when I did the wiring now I get no power at all.

If it did work, but now it doesn't then you probably popped the fuse.

ok i know this is gonna probably be a stupid question but do the wires need to be different colors, or is it just for ease of connecting for installer

wires can be any color you want to long as they go the appropriate place.

Only reason i have 4 different color wires in my original post is i had a section of trailer wiring harness left over... that just so happens to use 4 wires!

I wouldnt use anything less in size than 14awg. 12awg would be better, 10awg would be overkill.

I looked into doing this mod, but i have heated seats and the relay is beside the fog light relay making it very difficult to get all the wires inside the fuse box. There was a topic about using a tiny wire to connect two terminals on the relay making the fog lights come on with highbeam only, not on all the time. but it was pre 2012 and the relays are different on the 2014’s. All i want is an easy way to make the fog lights stay on when the headlights are on, high and low beam.

Stock heated seats or aftermarket? If aftermarket, why can't you move the relay to a different spot?

As far as doing this mod, if I pop the cover on that fuse panel, I can barely tell that it's been messed with.

If im not mistaken, somewhere buried in this here thread a member made it a stealth mod. Soldered a wire on the 12v switched hot (same pin the brown wire in OP goes to) underneath, then replaced the pin on the fog light spot so the fog relay stays in the same spot.

I did the single wire method with bending the terminal on the relay, should work for you. No need the inline fuse, it’s worthless. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2013-fog-light-anytime-w-fuse-step-by-step.279537/

You should run the heat shrink up to cover the terminals...

I eventually did. I only had a short chunk left big enough to cover the middle one at the time of the pic.
