You need to say what vehicle you want it for. Otherwise all we can do is suggest you Google it... which should have been your first step.

6" DB lift, or if you are a prerunner you can get 8" with spindles I believe

Enough modifications to piss the wife off!!

Really the only way 8" is possible, would be by stacking multiple lifts....

    6" drop bracket lift + 2" leveling kit(spacers)
6" drop bracket lift + 2 or 3" body lift
6" drop bracket lift + 2.5 to 3" suspension lift (coils, shocks)
and if you're 2 wheel drive there are even more options with spindle kits.

Many options & brands are available to accomplish this. Many guys on here will discourage you from stacking lifts together but quite a few have done it.

What's the Need for 8", Just need to show someone up that has a 6"? And really how bad would the CV angles be with that, if 4x4?

i know 6 inch lifts are point less but the cv angle would not be to bad. Because on the 6 inch the cv angles are stock level.

So 8" would be the same as a 2" lift, as far as CVs are concerned?

Cement is a soft powder. If your curbs are made out of that, I wouldn't worry about a lift. Concrete, on the other hand, is a little more rigid :D

Screw the CV's, what about the drive shafts. The CV's between the transfer case and the wheel bearing would be similar to a truck with a 2" lift. The shaft between the transfer case and the differentials would be operating at an angle I'm sure it wouldn't be happy about and that's assuming the stock shafts even have enough play to allow that much lift (which I doubt that they do). The rear would likely require a drive shaft spacer or a new shaft altogether.

I have to ask, why does one NEED 8" of lift?
