Need a good mechanic in SOCAL...

My truck has been shifting hard between first and second, and sometimes between 2nd and 3rd. It seems like it's staying in first gear for too long. IDK if it's the valve body in the tranny going out, or if something is wrong with some of the relays on the tranny. I've had two toyota dealerships, aamco, two tranny specialists, and a mechanic inspect it. All say it is fine and that is the way the truck is ment to run. I am not satisfied with their answer so I need a good quality mechanic who really knows tacoma's to check it out. And if indeed it is "normal" I need him to explain to me why my truck does it, while other trucks don't. this happens with alot of peoples tacomas.. my 2009 does the lag between 1st and 2nd gear.. its annoying as hell. i heard a "flash" of the computer helps. you can do this at the dealer or alot of mechanic shops. i think. anywho, its fairly normal, i hate it too
