OK--don't ask--too painful--but in any case, I cracked the radio face plate on my 2010 TRD Off-road. (At least i think that's what it's called--it's the big silver plastic piece that surrounds the radio, heater/ac controls, etc) So now I want to know can I buy just that face plate? If so, anyone got a part # and good vendor to buy from? thanks

By chance were you taking it out to put a new unit in? and did you forget 2 bolts and spend 30+min trying to pull it out and crack break it before you realized you missed 2 bolts?

actually what happened was this--I had the radio and face panel off so I could drill a hole just about the CD slot to mount a ram ball to hold my GPS. While drilling, the entire panel shattered!! So what I'm looking for is the plastic panel that covers the radio, flasher switch-down to the heater controls. I have an OEM radio, so I'm looking for the OEM panel. Any help? Thanks!

Which unit, I have one for a single disc non jbl stock radio out of an 05. I don't know any of the other specs, but I know it will not work with the 6 disc player.

    PM me if interested.

Yes, I did, and I just replied. Shoot me your address and I will find out the shipping cost as soon as I can (may not be until mid to late next week).

It should fit for you, I think there are only 3 faceplates (black stock, silver stock, and silver jbl), if anyone knows differently let me know?

Also, I think somewhere on the faceplate it has a number that tells which model radio it is (serial/code number), I'll find out what it is.

I got one from my 2010 trd sport, If it doesn't work out with the other guy let me know. Your welcome to it. I put in a jvc 6" touch screen unit and have no plans of ever using stock one again.

Mine won't work, they must have changed it a bit to accommodate MP3 and SAT radios (even if you don't have those options, they weren't available in the 05).

    Sorry OP

Damn man, in my quest to find the best RAM setup for my gps I thought once or twice about that location, glad I ended up affixing it to my a-pillar. That plastic must just be too brittle.
