Well my TRD CAI without a CARB sticker did not pass smog. I bought the truck with the CAI installed. I need to find a stock intake from the throttle body all the way to the actual intake. What is my best bet? I want to have a stock system on hand that I can install when I need to smog the truck but I love the TRD CAI for its grunt. Should I be looking at junk yard? OEM supplier? I live in the Bay area. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi, I thought the TRD cold air was the only 50 state legal box out there? Might be better to hit up the dealer to see if you can get another sticker?

I know the K&N and others weren't CARB compliant, but the TRD should be?

The dealer should be able to get you a carb sticker

Edit if they can't get you one I have a factory air box off my 06 for sale

Right, since the dealer sells TRD parts I would say that's your best bet for now...
