Need a tail gate handle with lock where do i find one

    hey TW so aim looking for a tailgate handle with lock so i can lock it i have a soft tunnel cover i dont want to change ower one nigth.

    Anyone have one install on ur rigs

    I believe that’s the only manufacturer for a lockable tailgate handle for these trucks.

    i have the powerdoor lock kit, before using it i greased up the usual areas that get the most wear.

    yes, it ties into my factory lock system. when i lock my doors it locks the tailgate.

    I’ve had a pop and lock on my duramax for a couple years and it’s been fine I think it’s decently made for what you pay. Just a tip I got my on eBay for less than $40

    Also, I know everyone says handles break quick, blah blah blah. Especially on doors. The fact is that latch has been in there upwards of 20 years with no lube. Take the latch out and grease it a bit, makes such a big difference. I clean all the old junk out of the lock, and use white lithium grease. Should apply to tailgate latches as well.

    I've had the Pop n Lock on my truck for 14 years. no issues other than having to put some graphite or grease in the lock occasionally

    I’ve got the pop lock with manual lock, held up fine for at least 6ys so far. Would buy again & recommend.
