Ok guys so heres the story. I love my 1st gen to death. No problems, no frame rust, lift, toyos, v6, 90k miles, everything is great about it.

Although, every time I drive by a 2nd gen with a 6" lift and 35's I about die and go to heaven, somtimes they look so good. However, Im a bit older than most guys with a 6 inch lift. That was the main reason I stuck with a 3" lift and 32's.

So here is where I need help. I have deeply considered either trading my truck in or selling my truck and taking the money and getting a basically fully loaded 2010 ext cab trd Tacoma.

Like I said I love my 1st gen and I think it is time to part ways with her.

I have seen 3 options that I can go about doing, and I need your help.
    Option1 ) Trade/sell and get a 2010 loaded Tacoma
    Option2 ) Trade/sell and get a Porsche or a Lexus (911 or IS)
Option3 ) Keep the 1st gen and enjoy it

PS- I have a new Tundra that I use for Towing my boat and for driving long distances. Basically stock except for Trd intake and Trd offroad.

Only you can make that call... but is a 30k+ truck with mods worth the swap from a mint first gen that you still love? Only you can decide...

Option 4) Drive it until the 3rd gen comes out. If you buy a second gen now you will most likely be kicking yourself in the ass like right now when they do come out! I do love my 2010 TRD Loaded

Stick with the 1st gen, I went from a 98 to an 07 then back to an 04. Believe me you will miss the first gen, easier to drive, better mpg, no tpms, tough as hell, cheaper on insurance and looks better!
