Need advice on buying used engine from rollover vehicle.

I'm interested in buying an engine from a '98 Tacoma with 85,000 miles. The only concern I have is that the truck was involved in a rollover accident, so I don't know if the engine was starved for oil at any point. Do the fuel pumps on these trucks shut off in case of a rollover?

 

Are you planing a straight drop in or are you building the engine up for something??

 

Straight drop in, replacing a bad engine.

 

I would think it would be fine. The computers on these trucks would shut it down the second any thing bad would happen. But there is always the chance.
