Need help figuring out which wire to tap into

Need some help guys.. Most of my previous vehicles had the "puddle lamps" under the mirror that illuminated when I unlocked it, I miss them. I bought some 3/4" LEDs with the rubber grommet and drilled the hole and pushed them into the mirrors. Which wire do I need to tap into to get them to illuminate when I hit the unlock button on my remote? Will they come on when I turn the dome light in from inside the cab? Truck is a '09 sport dc. Thanks.

you need to tap the ground from the dome light. It comes down the driverside A pilar. There's a writeup somewhere, keep searching. I think the wire is dark blue.
