Tonight I noticed a light rumbling/grinding/electronic bubbling sound coming from this part under the passenger side dashboard just behind the lower center console. Any idea what this part is and why it's making that sound?
    Thank you

That’s a blend door actuator. Try changing your temp/mode knobs to see which one causes it to move. If it’s making a grinding noise it most likely needs to be replaced.
