We are on our way to Moab (hopefully) and haven't yet made it out if VA yet  We're in Bristol and going to try to make it to Nashville in about 4 hours. But I have a failing passenger CV!!! I've got the part and I'm pretty damn sure most all of the tools. We have a parking lot I can work on it in but could really use a second hand!! The gf's great at pushing the break or handing tools but clueless about the mechanics

Too poor to list anything interesting.
    Bristol, VA.

Maybe a mod can move this to a region thread where it may get more attention in that area?

Made it to Nashville on the dying CV... Luckily we'd planned a short "lay-over" here so I've got about 5 hours tomorrow to tear into and fix it.. Shouldn't be an issue.. Only thing is, I've got an ok size breaker bar but no cheater pipe to throw on it and earlier I could t break the hub but loose.. Hopefully a couple hours more getting hot and having some PB blaster on it has loosened some things up a bit

Haha.. Believe me, if it was just barely showing signs of failure I'd probably push it as long as possible.. But the clicking noises during hard turns make me think it won't last another 1000 miles

Nothing so far but now that I'm not in an autozone parking lot (made it to a friend of my gf's house) and I've got more time I think I'll be ok..

Just eating that one but off should be my only real issue and I think I've worked out in my head how to do it

Luckily I noticed the problem earlier when we were next to an autozone so I made a couple trips in to buy parts and tools.. Hate spending money on crap duralast tools.. But when you're in a pinch
