I bought my tacoma 3yrs ago with 6mile on it and i notice the coolant is low,, its a pink color coolant and i didnt change it ever since i got it,,
Question is: to add coolant, do i drain it from the resivore or can i mix it?

    All of them
just add some top off the reservoir with some pre mixed coolant from toyota or an OEM replacement.
check your manual and it will tell you the exact coolant to look for.
when you do add it, add it to the max cold line, if the truck has been shut off for a while. hope this helps

Keep an eye on it, if it gets low again you have a leak somewhere, usually the water pump.
