Hey guys, so I bought this 08 Tacoma used and when I bought it, it had these decal stickers on the fenders and door frames. They're transparent and they're stuck on very well! They come off in little pieces and leave stick residue behind. I don't know what they're for and I would like to remove them! I've tried Goo Gone and a squeegee type scraper to get them off. As you can see I got part of one off but it's very hard and time consuming. Anyone KNOW how I can remove them fast and easy?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Use 3m adhesive remover. Allow plenty of time to let the remover work into the adhesive then use your finger nail to remove the bulk and a micro fiber cloth to remove the rest. upload_2015-5-7_10-58-35.jpg

I would also recommend a 3M Eraser wheel.

I put these on car bumpers, mirrors, and sometimes the whole car. Don't use a 3m eraser cause you can burn the paint if your not careful. Get a heat gun and use the low setting and it should come off. KEEP THE HEAT GUN MOVING or you will burn the paint. Then you can use some adhesive remover to get rid of the rest.

x2 If you don't trust yourself with a heat gun, use a hair dryer. Less risk of damaging the paint. That's what I used on my bedside decals and they came off no problem.

Yup heat gun. Friend used to remove these items when he was a detailed at a car shop. Heat it up from a bit of a distance and move it like JCruz mentions. Then goo gone but that was back in the day! Worked well for us.

+1 on using eraser wheel. It won't damage the paint and makes removing adhesive residue a lot easier.

Yeah its the factory paint protect, but you can have the dealer put a full bumper, lights, mirror, and half hood on.
