So, needed to replace the back bushing on the driver side lower control arm on my '06 TRD and the dealer had two part numbers for the same thing and based on my VIN they said the right number was 48655-04010 but no one had it in stock in my region so using that part number to cross reference I tried Napa and Auto Zone and finally O'reilly was able to get one next morning, only when I got it it wasn't the right one, it was too small in diameter. So we tried the other part number the dealer gave me for it, 48655-04020, just picked it up, looked to be the right diameter, threw it in, and guess what? NOT the right one, it was the right diameter but it was about a half inch too short! We are supposed to leave on a trip on Friday and am now totally frustrated and probably f'd. Does anyone have a proper part number for this busing?!?!?! Thanks in advance for any help.

Sandman it's a 4WD. You posted the diagram showing the 48655-04020 but that one was wrong, it had the correct diameter but was about half an inch too short. I went back to NAPA last night and the guy looked up bushings by dimensions not application, he found one he thinks will work, listed the same diameter as the 48655-04020 but was like .501 inches longer than the 48655-04020. It comes in this afternoon, we'll see if that works, the listed application is the pre runner which I thought was weird since that is NOT what I have. I am still miffed the dealer had it all wrong, and using my VIN too, I don't get it, and not just one dealer, all three in town I tried gave me the same part number, as did discounttoyotaparts.com, with or without my VIN, cost me a week and half of ordering and re-ordering in bushings that were all wrong. Don't think we're getting out of town Friday since I still need to get it aligned once the suspension is back together and still have to re-install the Flippac which I can't do till I can move the truck again, kind of feel like the wheeling gods are telling me to stay home...
