Need help with illustrator!

    I want to make a ring of 50 stars. I started out making a polar grid with 50 radial dividers. I have a star pattern tool. Basically, I want to make this, but with 50 stars. [​IMG]


    anyone know how to do it? or make the stars like that one...the default star in illustrator sucks.

    no expert with Illustrator here, though I've managed with it a couple times....

    can you do in Photoshop then cross over and vector it in Illustrator?

    Oh and if its like Photoshop, you should be able to create a tool tip from any image... look it up. Custom Brushes I think is the topic.
