Fishing line to remove the badges. Can heat them up with a hairdryer too. Goo gone for excess adhesive. You'll naturally have to get some new tape to put the emblems back on after you paint them.

I used fishing line and a heat gun. Sand them down and paint them. Do a search and you should be able to find all the info you need.

Debadged mine with the idea of painting them black and putting them back on.. but i really like the way it looks with out badges. even took of the trd sport stickers. only badge i still have is the toyota logo from the grille.. painted it with black krylon fusion spray paint (because its for plastic) and put it in the center of my black mesh grille craft grille.

white trucks definitely look good with black badges tho. good luck.. its not hard to do.

I used cheap equate Dental Floss(cheap and stonger than the good stuff), easier on the fingers and good for the gums. Then sanded and Krylon in flat black. Love it!!! I took off and left off the V6 and SR5 badge.
