In the near future I will be needing to replace my headlights due to DTRL melting in both as well as vertical cracking in the clear part of the housing. I like the look of having a separate projector for low beam and a separate high beam. What I don't care for is the extra bling that comes with these lights, ex. Eyebrows, halos, and extra LEDs. So I have decided that I want to keep the factory look because my light output is great. My question is with the lights I have posted above from EBay, will I still have the same light output as I do from the factory lights? Reason I ask is because from what I have researched, the aftermarket projectors are not that good. Also on the last pic it says these are sport, what is the difference between sport housings and non-sport? Thanks guys.

Maybe "sport" is a way of saying "not for street" use? The halogen reflector lights should shine well, but you have to do something to stop your new lights from also melting. I did the DTRL elimination green wire snip....

I like having my DTRL's on. Could I just swap that bulb for a LED one or am I going to get the hyper flash?

I was doing some more thinking and thought about this. Since I want to keep my DTRL's, I could order these lights with extra LEDS and mount the LEDS in the grill, cut the DTRL wire and tie back into it to power up a relay to light up the LEDS and still keep my DTRL functionality without melting my new headlight housings. What do you think?

Hyper flash would still be an issue, wouldn't it? For me, on my truck with LED blinkers/DTRLs even after I did the flasher mod that is here posted somewhere, the blinkers would still only both blink when the DTRLs were off. The flash rate was fixed, but I had to cut out the DTRL feature, altogether. Now all is well and nothing should ever melt again.
