    i broke up with my girlfriend of just about 2 years and it is the best thing that has happened to me! started my own landscaping business and started picking up other side jobs. i am much happier now and don't have to answer to anyone but myself. i have started talking and hanging with other girls but I'm not looking for another relationship right now. just focusing on school and work

    a friend of mine fought to get his gf back............. they got married and not only did she cheat on him but she served him divorce papers 5 days after he touched down in Iraq and he spent the whole deployment trying to get 50/50 custody which failed so now he supports her drug habit against his will.

    Yeah, he met a girl we all knew in HS who wasn't a basket case and they're married now and she's gunna have his first son soon. Round 2 of marriage has gone a lot better for him.

    which I believe ties in well to this thread:

    Dont make a girl be with you that doesnt want to be with you, it'll end up WAY more nasty then walking away.

    Things can and will get better, dont chase old flames
