All the chintzy-ass aftermarket, Amazon-special, crap people put on their trucks is equally bad. It just screams, "I'M 17 AND WANT GIRLS TO THINK I'M KEWL!"

But hey, I don't have to drive it. Knock yourselves out.

You remember the JC Whitney catalogs? I remember seeing guys all over town (full grown adults) rolling with half the catalog on their trucks. Sweet windshield visors, tonneau covers with spoilers, curb feelers, chrome running boards, fake hood scoops. Everything.

    It was epic.

I actually don't have a problem with black wheels. i just hate chrome.

I’ve never needed a led light on a vehicle until I started hunting hogs with dogs and trust me it’s a lot better than holding your hand out with a flashlight lookin for rooting or tracks on a cold night or having someone stand outside by your trailer while you try to back it in a ten foot wide trail. Mine had newer model Toyota wheels on it that were junk and I wanted something with offset, nangchang mudstar tires. Basically knock off buckshots.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

    This is progress!

If you're a full grown adult (over, lets say 25) I will readily admit to stereotyping the crap out of you.

holly shit, aren't you a little young to drive?

    :D

But yeah, we all did crap in the 80s and 90s we regret. I wore my hat on the back of my head and hand "bangs". :puke:

I have my original steel 15" A/T clad wheels painted same color as the body. Looks okay, but not great. I only run them in Winter You may want to go plasti-dip so if you don't like it you can more easily remove it. The other thing some guys do is make a newspaper or cardboard cover the size of the wheels, paint it, and stand at a distance and check the look. Gives you an idea of the final look.
