Need some advice on sliders (with step)

I just got a TRD pro that has a lift on it. While I am 5'5" I can hop in gracefully but my wife is 5'1" and this height will not be acceptable for her.

I am looking at jumping in on the All Pro slider group buy and getting some Apex's. Ryan from AP sent me a link to a step:

This is supposed to bolt on to the Apex's.

Is this my best option? My criteria are:

1. Good TW friendly vendor
2. Has a step or step can be added.
3. Functional and looks cool.

 

Be aware that street tacos has quite a bad reputation, you should search this forum for threads discussing their poor business practices as well as product quality issues.

I have a set of theirs on my '13 DCSB with kickout. VERY VERY satisfied.

 

just ask to have your APEX sliders welded without the upward angle. They'll be just like steps, but better. That's the route I plan to go.
