Need some feedback on a Tundra

Ok here is the story, my father wants to replace his F250 with a Toyota Tundra (he fell in love with it after he saw my Tacoma )... since march, they only brought about 4 2009 tundras, 4.7L crewmax 2wd sr5.... of course they sold out the very 1st day... my father has been waiting for new to come in... but seems there is a shortage, thats the only version of tundra down here, but they were planing to bring the 4wd 4.7l crewmax..... but hasn´t come yet...

ok the sales rep told us that something is happening with the production of 4.6 tundras.... but im wondering.... maybe it has to do with the fact that in USA the big v8 pick ups are not selling very well cause of gas prices.... so, is there any chance that they are bringing the 5.7L tundras which are kind of stuck in the US market??

If this doesn't make any sens please tell me and ill try to rephrase everything.....
