Consel vault, grillcraft grill w/ relocation of horns, debadged, backup lights, Best Top Super Topper.
Im looking for a crossover type truck tool box that is a low profile and is slim (meaning the width is around 12"). I dont want to take up too much room from my bed.

I was looking at this UWS box: but i dont think that a total of 9" deep is that much storage room, and was thinking that something of the same demensions but deeper, would be pretty awesome.

Also I am not a big fan of the "V" shape boxes. And would rather have the maximum storage.

UWS slim line black series. I like it but now that I want to get a soft shell I wish I had gotten one that doesn't sit on the bed sideds.

There's a few pics of my taco in my gallery and in there, I've got the Kobalt slim box. you can get it at most Lowes stores for $150 + < $10 in hardware.

You cant fit the world inside it but I keep extension cords, fish tape, a plastic crate with spray bottles and a roll of towels, an electrical connector kit, bolt cutters and some other things in it. Pack it well and logically and a lot will fit.

What's the point of the V-boxes? They don't give you more room in the bed, and they have less space inside. Not to mention they're ugly.

Step 1: Go to Lowe's, Home Depot or Tractor Supply, or any of the dozens of stores like that. Or a truck accessory store.

Step 2: Tell them you have a Toyota Tacoma, and ask to see what they have that fits it.

Step 3: Buy what you like.

Step 4: Put tools in it.

Check craigslist, people put them up all the time after they get a bed cover or camper shell.
