I have an 06 dbl cab and Im going to keep my stock radio and replace my speakers and add an amp . for the amp Im going with an Alpine MRP-F550 90watt rms but Im stuck with either getting the polk MMC6500 or Infinity 60.7cs for front and 50.7cs for rear. I may get a sub down the road but dont listen to thumper music . I listen to heavy metal really loud ( like there is any other way ) . any one care to give their opinions ?

    thank you

The Infinitys soud the best out of all of them however, for hard rock at loud levels I would lean towards the polks.

I've always preferred Polk over the Infinity stuff but I've never actually owned either. If your listening to Heavy Metal you definately need a sub in my opinion. My 8" adds just the right kick to the bass drum and guitar in my heavy songs and it sounds great. Was listening to Disturbed on the way home from the gym and it sounded really really good with the sub.

    thanks for the replies

I went with the polks with an alpine 550 amp . I thought the same thing that the polks would be a better set for the music I listen too . I have owned both polks and infinities before and they are both awesome to listen to . The sub will be in the near future that I will place behind the back seat . I will build my own box for the sub as opposed to the ones I have seen for large cash .

    thanks again
