I know there are a million of them out there...just check eBay...can anyone here suggest a brand they've had good luck with? Can't afford Rigid.

looks nice but that $320 price tag. I did find a Rough Country black edition that was under $230

yup its cheaper But Rough Country uses Cree LED with only a 3 year warranty. Diode Dynamics uses Philliips Lumiled LEDs with a 8 year warranty. So I guess you have to determine if the better quality LEDs and longer warranty is worth the extra $100

These are the way to go. They're vision x evo prime clones. And they're awesome.
Have a 42", 20", two 8". I've even got a 20" now with 5d optics and 15 watt leds. But the 3d with 10watt is still better than the 5d one I think. Vision x has discontinued the evo prime line for their newer 'xpr' line. But the xpr are "optic-less" and don't have lenses/optics. I bought a 12" xpr clone and it's nice, but still doesn't put out as good as their older evo prime design due to the 3d optics they use.
Here's a link to my build page with some comparisons and output pics of the single rows I have. Along with more pics elsewhere on the build page.

Cheapest one I could find. $138
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/252379336757
There's also the B.D. clones. Harder to find. And a bit more pricier than the evos. But come with more options like dual Amber/white optics via interchangeable lenses, curved/straight, etc.

Finally. After a bit of browsing (as the bd clones are harder to find like I said) found a seller that offers a few different version of these. They don't seem to have a 30" exactly that I could find. They are out there. But most have the Amber/white combo lenses. This one is curved. But all white. http://www.ebay.com/itm/122061337271

Then there's this one which you can note to the seller what color option you want. But it's 33" and $347. This seller even sells double rows! Ha. Which I've been trying to find myself in full length versions of the evo prime but the longest I could find was 20". Anyways... http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/181962389213

rigid radiance seems promising to me and is the newer cheaper rigid lineup. I was about to purchase the tracker series but the sold out :( http://sidetrackedoffroad.com/tracker-series-single-row-led-light-bars.html

I am in the same situation as you. I am addicted to light and want the absolutely most impressive bar for under $500. The thing is lumens are a lie on a lot of these bars. Rigid has proved theirselves in the light bar world so I might just pony up the cash for one.

Yes it would. Most companies have weird measurements, we used to call it 30" but that is from lense to lense, its 31.5 from end cap to end cap. Most companies have the same exact bar size, but call it a 30" to make it an even #.

AFe Rebel Catback Exhaust, AFe GT Momentum Air Intake, Method Wheels, Bilstein 5100, Rigid 30" SR2 Light Bar, Rigid 10" SR Light Bar. Lots of Love
Temco Industries_ I bought my rear flood pod lights from them and they also carry a lifetime warranty. My rear lights were only 34 dollars compare to the 180+ dollars from Rigid Industries. They are bright and I have no complaints for the cost; however one of the pods has gotten condensation inside of it, but it still works and hasn't given up yet. Going to send it in for a replacement when I have time.

Talking about 30in light bars; I just got a 30" SR2 Rigid light bar. That thing is sweet; going to do install tomorrow. Avoiding buying the mounting brackets for the Tacoma since those are $$_ I found an awesome way of mounting it; I'll take photos once I do get it on.

Any pictures of the light output? Made in China? I have heard stories about the leds in Chinese bars being not what the claim to be.

Don't have any output pictures of the single row, but we manufacture them overseas, but we are a reputable vendor on TW and you can check out our threads and get customer input. We provide affordable prices for a great quality light bar. If you have any questions let me know.
