Seller's sale thread can be found here: http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/346771-all-one-remote-key-gq43vt20t.html.

This is a review of Neneago's new V.2 FOB chip only. The new chip is used in his new keys and can be used as a direct replacement if you previously purchased one of his All In One Keys (which is what I did). To read my initial review of the V.1 All In One Key: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/neneagos-all-in-one-remote-key-review.349407/

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the seller nor do I guarantee the product/experience you receive will be similar to mine. Seller provided me a chip to review.

    Disassembling All In One Key
With the key in the "out" position, I used a flat head screwdriver to separate they key from the FOB. Same technique was then used to separate the FOB shell into two pieces which gains you access to the battery and FOB chip. Remove V.1 Chip.

Here is my key's old V.1 Chip

Here is the new V.2 Chip

    Pair FOB to vehicle (DIY)
At this point, I inserted the new V.2 Chip into my FOB and reassembled the all in one key.
Programmed the FOB using the instructions found here: http://www.icwhen.com/tacomanut/fob.html

Performance summary of the new V.2 Chip
    Press unlock button: works
    Press lock button: works

    So what changed?
Range. The V.2 chip has a major advantage in terms of range. With the V.1 chip, my FOB's range was roughly 20-30ft (length of my driveway). The new chip works at a much greater range, was easily working at 50 feet and at that point I was across the street and in my neighbor's yard. If I find the time, I might do some more testing in the future to see if this is simply better contact with the battery or some other variable, but my guess is an improved antenna.

    Overall Impression/Opinion
Neneago's All In One Key is one of my favorite taco mods and my daily driving key. I was satisfied with the product's performance (have had the key for over a year) and the new chip simply extends the range out. Wouldn't call the V.2 chip a "game-changer" but here's a seller who takes pride in his work... took a good thing and made it better.

if we have a V1, How much is a V2 chip board upgrade? @neneago

or any mod we can do to extend the range of v1, solder larger antenna or something?

Also can you test range against the factory remote?

    Thanks for the review

Do you have to do any programming that would mean going to the dealer? My original, i suspect is a v1, it's from March i think and the range sucks. I can be standing next to the truck and it takes 3 or 4 presses for it to work.
