Nerf Bar Measurement

I was wondering if any of you that have a set of nerf bars installed could do me a favor and take a measurement from the truck frame to the outside edge of the nerf bars.

I currently have a set of the black Toyota running boards installed and would like to compare those to some of the different brands of nerf bars as far as how far they stick out from the truck.

 

I think some brands of nerfs stick out further than others. The silver Toyota brand tube steps stick out 1/2" less than the Toyota black running boards as I measured them both.

By looking at some different pictures on the forum, it looks like the Aries brand don't stick out as far as some other brands which is what I'm looking for but getting a measurement would tell me for sure.
