I installed new brake pads last night while intoxicated in my garage. I know, it’s dumb. This happened 3 years ago when I was drunk and drained my transmission fluid instead of my oil. Anyway…

I drove about 20 miles when I heard a sound. Fixes them on the side of the highway. Everything is fine now I think. Is there any permanent damage you think? Anything I should watch for? I think my rotor is fine. Any suggestions let me know. Thank you.

LOL!!! that's great!! really shouldn't drink and work on your truck, especially on your brakes! You didn't hear the noise any sooner then 20 miles?!! Do you have any pics of that inboard rotor surface?

Oh I had my music blasting. Once I turned it down I could feel a little tiny vibration when pressing the brakes. I pulled over and checked then I saw it.

I’ll take some pics tomorrow when I pull the wheel off. Hope it’s fine.
