Spent some time last night working on getting the rear of the truck covered in sound proofing. Since I removed everything back there, its a bit loud.

This is the most time consuming thing I have done on the truck yet. Takes forever to get 1 piece on and done.

While replacing the locker actuator :bananadead:

We noticed that the passenger side top leaf was broken on my OME EL095R pack. :cookiemonster:

All fixed, replaced with the exact same garbage. I will upgrade next time I have an issue with the leaf packs.

Spent quite a few hours this weekend completing a project I have had on the back burner for awhile.

Getting a 4 x switch bank from Ford installed in my truck for accessories.

@TjAeCeOpMAmiah showed me how to correctly use corrugated tubing to run wires. Tried my best after he showed me to clean up all the wiring I had been ignoring under the dash area for the compressor and CB. It looks great now. Wiring is so time consuming with all the dissembly / re-assembly required.

    :sawzall:

    :transformer:

Also put a blank plate in the 4hi 4lo switch spot. No more useless switch.

    Welcome to TW!

My pleasure, I enjoy documenting what I do to my truck. So I can keep track, and look back on what it used to be.

More thought and investigation, we found the issue with my 'brakes'

After wheeling hard a few weeks ago, it felt like the truck had a problem with the brakes. We bled them and ran through the Techstream fix for bleeding the system.

It seemed like it worked at 1st, then it was back all of a sudden. Having the press the brake peddle really far sometimes, other times it was normal.

    :bananadead:

    Found the problem.

Wheel bearing on the passenger side is toast. I always thought that if your wheel bearing was that bad, you would feel it in the steering wheel or something. Everything felt fine, except the brakes.

    :cookiemonster:

Feels really good to to finally find the problem. :goingcrazy:

Parts ordered to correct the problem on passenger side, and stay ahead of it on driver.

Yep this was the problem with the brakes. Truck is all fixed! :cookiemonster:

Did both the front bearings and hubs. Did not want to wait like 3 months and the driver side would be gone.

We assembled the new hubs and bearings using a small 6 ton jack that @TjAeCeOpMAmiah has.

Now I can take my old ones to a shop and have the bearings pressed out and reuse em!

Just enough to get some on my pants when I got in and out a few times on the run I did today. Next time hopefully I have to wear my gaiters.

Just cleaning more trails, it is really needed at this time of year. I always enjoy doing this.
