For those of you who really like and want the new 2009 smoked headlight assemblies, below is the information that I received from Toyota of Dallas. I have not ordered them yet since they are rather expensive, so I cannot confirm the accuracy of the part numbers. Also, if you try to look up the part numbers through the http://www.toyotapartsales.com website, it will tell you that they do not exist. I'm guessing it's because they are too new and the online ordering system has not been updated yet. I had the same issues with the new 2009 LED tail lights. So, you will have to go to http://www.trdparts4u.com and use the "Part Order" form. The prices below are the website ordering prices, the list prices are $291.45 each! Here are the part numbers and prices:

    Hi Chris,

    81150-04173 HEADLAMP $211.34
    81110-04173 HEADLAMP $211.34

    Thanks,

    Jacque Arnondin

Man if you want black headlights, do the BHLM yourself. It will cost you $10 in supplies and will look so much better than Toyota's version.

But if you do the mod yourself, arent' you risking a poor seal and fogging, vs getting a factory part that's sealed up right?

Yeah, if you're not careful. The factory "smoked" headlights aren't black like those who have done the BHLM.

sealing it up isnt really that hard at all. as long as you take your time and know how to do a little modding its no problem at all. i've had mine for over a year now and no problems.

my $5 spray paint and 4 hours sure beats the $450 for the stockers that still arent black and have the yellow reflectors!!
