Double-Cab, Long Bed, TRD Sport. Home safe and sound with 22 miles. :)

I've got a tonneau cover going on next week with a Pop & Lock wired into my keyless entry. Got into the recent WeatherTech Group Buy too, the mats and the bug deflector should arrive next week as well.

Looking into other mods like adding my Ham Radio (KB1UMC), tinting the front windows and maybe replacing the stock mud flaps with something that match both front and rear...other ideas will follow I'm sure. :)

Traded in a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with 77K miles on it. Didn't go Dodge again due to high cost of the new trucks and wanted slightly better gas mileage. Why the Tacoma? These trucks are loved by their owners, have high resale value if kept up well and seem to last a very, very long time. I was sold right after the first test drive!

I too traded a Ram, loved it but I'm happy, better mpg's, easier to park and 4x4. I do miss the sound of the Hemi though. ;)

Congrats on the new truck. I installed a Icom 207h and love it. The radio has a remote head and hides very well. If you would like I can email you some pics.

welcome Ron. I moved from a 2002 Ram 1500 back into a Tacoma. Sad I sold my first 96 Taco for the Ram, but I had other ideas at the time.
