As many of you know I am in the market for a new Tacoma! I originally wanted a 2010 but I think now after reading a few press releases and such I plan to purchase a 2011. Anyone got any advice or ideas or things to look for?? Or how long I should wait??

Guys I may be second guessing myself! Is a 2011 really worth the money, or should I just save my self a few thousand(put the extra money towards mods) and get a 2010 while the dealers are looking to clear the lot?? I may start a poll soon!

Buy a left over 2010. You'll save thousands because the dealers will be trying to push the 2011's.

Agreed. The changes the 2011 have are not going to be worth the extra cost...get a good deal on a 2010 and pat yourself on the back for saving some cash.

They didnt really do much to change the 2011's to my knowledge, so I'd just get a 2010 at the liquidation price when the 2011's are arriving

Not enough has changed (new grill and fresh interior) to justify the additional cost. The 2010 are on sale now to make room for the 2011. I just bought mine last week and am VERY satisfied with the price.

    Just my $0.02 worth

There is a 2010 exactly how you want (it says sat prewire not xm ready ) but it has everything you want on it. I don't think it has bluetooth though. Go to toyotaofconcord.com and use their search to see what is available in the southeast. Some dealers will be nice enough to essentially "build" the truck you want, as in my case. All you need is the model of your truck to come in and they'll put what you want on it. They told me the sport model, tow hitch, etc does not come from factory and is put on in the port.

I don't know much about factory bluetooth but an after market head unit with bluetooth works well. Well my Pioneer did.

If you plan on keeping your new truck for a long time then the 2010 at a discounted price is a good option but if you will only keep it a short time then you might think about the 2011 as the devaluation will be less for the 2011 as opposed to the 2010... Right off the lot the 2010 is a year older model than the 2011 and worth slightly less.... Just my two cents worth…

I've been looking for a 2010 myself and I'm finding stock kind of low so the dealers are not willing to deal much, I would think it may be the other way around.
