If you can find a 2010 like you want, go for it. The problem in my area is that there aren't ANY configured like I want, and the dealers are telling me that they won't be getting any more. Locally they have lots of 4wd on the lots, but no prerunner dc, 2wd, TRD sport models. They're telling me they can find one, but since they don't have it on their lot they're not real interested in dealing. Good luck, I hope you can find what you want at a good price.

I could be wrong but doesn't the trd sport dc only come in short bed? I think the offroad is the long bed version (or vise versa) someone correct me on this?

I just got a 2010 double cab, long bed, TRD sport 4x4 for $29,300 plus tax, etc.
You will pay $32 plus tax, etc for 2011, you just have to figure out your note. What can you afford to pay per moth. If you can, go all the way with 2011. If you want a lower note, you can not go wrong with 2010. I am loving the truck!!!

I say 2010 cause you will save so much more. But you have to act fast...once the 2011s come out like next month the 2010s will be gone. I tired looking for an 09 when I bought mine but they were long gone. It will be basically the same truck. Unless you want to pay extra for the new grille...:jerkoff:

    What I bought:
    • Timberland Green
    • Double Cab
    • Short Bed
    • 4x4
    • Off Road Package
    • XM Ready (I'm not using)
    • Towing Package

I paid invoice ($29,255) AND got an AWESOME trade-in value for my 2001 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner.

You mentioned you were wanting the following differences:
    • Long bed
    • Sport Package
    • Bluetooth

Sport package is roughly the same price as the Off Road package (within several hundred dollars.
Bluetooth is an added accessory that costs $175+ installation (roughly $300-$400 total); however, I'm unsure if there is an additional fee for long bed.

In short, you should not be paying much more than invoice on a 2010 assuming you wait till the end of the month to buy.

    NEVER PAY MSRP!!!!!!!!

    Hope this helps.

Yes, I may take it to a local dealer and let them try to get it for me!

Should I try to buy one now guys, or wait until the end of August when the 11's have hit the market??

That will be a damn nice truck!.. exactly like the one I picked up a few months back. Its my first Taco and I'm loving it! Id say go with the 2010 and save the extra cash for upgrades. I dont know of many changes in the 2011... and I'm not a huge fan of the new grill.

Work for you. If the dealer has to go & get the truck u will not get the best deal! U have to find a dealer somewhere that have the truck in stock & is ready to sell it!!
PS: the price I told Is With blue tooth! I love having blue tooth, I had an aftermarket before on my Mazda but this is so much nicer!!! Plus the upgrade stereo is great!!
