Most dealerships have 0% right now. Thats what I'm doing anyways. I took out a 48 month plan... Already paid off half of it, and am going to pay the rest of it next month. And what do you mean it looks high? As far as price, it is the same as any other Toyota dealership.

It's a TRD Sport fully loaded, I feel like I did great. I dont know anyone who has made it out the door with a TRD for 27 or even 28.

Sticker prices aren't dropping... Dealers are definitely dropping more off their prices though. Plus, the Taco is a great truck. Its depreciation rate is incredible.. I didnt see a 2nd Gen. Taco on the preowned lot for under 25.

My local dealer(which I will not buy from because they are idiots) has some TRD Sports for 26,000 -28,000

In this present market anyone should be able score a new Taco for invoice minus any rebates...

Its ok. not worth paying the extra money! I can do a mod and make it look that way for a few hundred!

Guys, I am really leaning towards a 2011. I have looked online at numerous places and I can not find the exact truck I want anywhere! I actually think I may be just as well off to go to a dealer and order a 2011. But if I do this and have them order me one from a factory, will I have any wiggle room??

If I get a 4x4 long bed double cab how many miles can I expect to get on one tank of gas?

I'd expect anywhere around 16-20 mpg. At least that's what I'm averaging, but of course YMMV.

At this late in the game it may be very hard to find a 2010 with the exact specs you're looking for. The trade off to that is a lower price if you settle on one though. If you really feel like you couldn't live without what you wanted, then go for the 2011. What did you mean by wiggle room?

Room to get a lower price!

As far as 2011's are concerned? Pretty just negotiate from invoice...never pay sticker!

you will save the difference in price (which is a bit over $1K), that is it unless you overpay or there's factory incentives, which vary by area

they won't drop. you can get them a few hundred over dealers cost now, they're not going to drop them below their cost. not to mention supply and demand, Toyota seems careful to not build too many of them so there's not a glut. the only way the price will really drop is if there's factory incentives...
