    A few.
You doing very well then. Around 23mpg. That is the best I've gotten and usually get 21-22. Is that a 4x4 or a Pre-runner?

What he said...I went looking for a 2010 but could not find a single one with the options I wanted...I was willing to give on color for the options I wanted but still had little luck. Ended up with a 2011 double cab sport package with JBL and a towing package for only $24,500. Throw in my trade in and $2000 down and It went down to about 18000 after taxes/fees/registration (damn california!)

If you get the JBL option, you will get XM and Bluetooth. Both will work when you drive off the lot. The XM is built into radio, no add ons.

I would say 2011...thats what I got about 6 weeks ago! I got the double cab sport and paid 28,000+fees! That was the best deal I found anywhere besides 1 2010, for 27,500 and it was that weird gold/green color! I figured the new grill and being able to say its a 2011 was worth the 500 extra...lol and I got the exact color I wanted!

I got a 2011 for Dealer Invoice + Fees. I couldn't find a 2010 TRD Off Road Crew Cab with 6 Speed that wasn't either White or Red (two colors that I did not want). I got a Metallic Grey one just the way I wanted it.

When I bought mine they were the same price. Since they didn't offer any rebates because I didn't finance through toyota I actually got a 2011 for $300 less than the 2010 I was looking at. Then with an '11 you are gonna have better resale because its brand new. If you buy a '10 it will be a year old next month and the value will be less... just my $0.02

I was on the lot and it was the same price for 2010 vs. 2011. I worked a deal where I got the 2011 fully loaded with 4x4 for way under dealer invoice just so they could show a sale. got to love the advantages of a bad economy. Bottom line is they are so desperate to move any vehicle...go with what you want.

I went with the 2011 .... Not much bargaining on these trucks.. on the 2010 they said it would be like $550 cheaper I'm thinking resale value would be more for a 2011 plus I got the new grill... Get what you like & good luck ... It was worse than buying my house

I would buy the 2010, and the extra money you save from it use that for a purchase of a lift kit or rims or some kind of mod that you would like to do to it, and good luck on your decision. ;)

I've just recently purchased a 2011 Taco DCLB Magnetic Gray TRD sport, think I've overpaid 29500 + fees in NorCal, there was a 2010 DBSB White TRD sport for 29K + fees, instead I went with LB and gotta love the magnetic gray:)

I just got a 2011 last week, I4 automatic DC Prerunner in Magnetic Gray Metallic, with all the options I wanted (SR5 package, Tinted Windows, and Carpet mats). I choose a 2011 b/c the 2010's did not have the I4 option just the V6, which for me is less power, but better gas mileage since I only use the truck to commute to and from work.

Plus I got a better deal on a 2011 than what they offered me on the slim picckings of 2010s on the lot.

I got a 4x4, and no trade in; but others told for California, it a pretty good deal that I got, I hope so.

I had a friend who purchase a new 2008 (back in Aug 07) white DCSB TRD sport 4x4 with no trade in for 30K OTD!!

Yeah, but that won't keep people from replying to the thread. Especially come February or so when someone takes the very last 2010 off the lot.

Im still debating on a 2010 4x4 double cab short bed w/ SR5 package and a 2011 4x4 double, short cab w/ TRD sport. The dealer wants $27500 for the 2010 and $29,113 for the 2011 here in california. Im still thinking about getting used if I can't get a good deal on a new one.

Wondering if I can get the dealer down to $28,500 on the 2011?
