Hey everyone just got a new dbl cab trd off road. I have had it three weeks and today it started making a noise under the dash like a relay click but it only happens after i first put it in drive and start to take off. It never did it before and am curious what it is. Any suggestions or help is appreciated!

I guess thats what it may be. I just thought it was weird because it just started doing it but i know for sure that the sound is coming from right by my feet (right above pedals) and only happens after the truck is first started and after about 10 feet of driving forward after i put it in drive....

Does anyone have an update or fix for this. Mine just started doin this. I dont think its the ABS self check because it will do it when i'm going down the road, put it in neutral, and turn the key off.

Normal. When you shut the engine off, you de-energize the relay, hence the sound. :p

I turned it off to see if the noise was coming from something that required electricity. (I.E. a relay)

Went out today and pushed back and forth on the front driverside fender and heard the noise. I now think its something loose under the hood. Gonna investigate further this weeked.
