Previously bought a 16 SR model for my wife and put a leveling kit on it and it drove horrible. Would dive and follow the road really bad. Had alignment checked at two different shops and it was within specs.

SOLD IT....and bought a fully loaded 17 TRD long box :)

I want to level it out but now I'm a bit hesitant to ruin the ride again????

What is a good leveling kit that won't affect the ride quality?
    THANK YOU

how much could we gain from Bilsteins??

Just bought a new Ram2500 with offroad package and it came with Bilsteins....rides much rougher than my previous Ram.
I'n not trying to do the cheap an easy route. Plan on keeping this Taco around for a while:)
    Thanks....

Sounds like money is not an issue and you also want somewhat of a smooth ride. One option is to go with the TRD Pro Fox shocks which would raise the front by one inch.

5100s (2.5" front), OEM Raptor wheels, 315/70/17 BFGs, Undercover, tint, Weathertechs.
5100s are far and away the best leveling option IMO, definitely not "cheap". They ride much better than stock and get up to 2.5" lift in the front, although I put them on 1.75" and it was perfect for me. No UCA concerns that way.

Decide whether you want to level it (stock height in the rear) or raise it front and rear a certain height and have it level.

If keeping the rear height stock then 5100s. If raising it 2, 3 or more inches then a bunch of stuff is available.
