Looks sad in there, almost like it is in prison. Good luck on everything and hope it all works out.

I realize the intake is there. That’s why the cowl is vented. It’s very common for the ac drain line to clog and spill water directly onto the passenger side floor. The line usually needs blown out with an air compressor or poked with a piece of wire.

    Not my picture.

But if you look at that gap in the pic I posted, it's obvious rain was running down the windshield under that giant gap, and into the vent. After I sealed it with silicone, it never happened again. And the leak happened after I left my truck outside the garage and it rain hard that night.

    Maybe check this thread.

It's obvious if have a gap in the seal, water will get in the vent.

The fancy term for customer service is just a guess. 8003314331

What a debacle. Seriously considering buying another brand because of this.

Well this has to be A/C related. The OP said it's never been in the rain or ever washed. So unless he spilled a drink on the floor what else would make water?

We think the water had been there for a while with no way to drain out. Under floor mat.
Not possible the toyota service techs and bodyshop guys keep a truck and rip it apart this far and miss the obvious.

Day 22. Truck still sits in the same spot with no windshield, removed front right qtr, grill gone and the entire bumper loose and lowered . No interior and roof cluster hanging down .

Toyota service advisor just called to say parts are on the way and he will be done with the truck Tuesday or wednesday. The body shop is closed today so I don't think that time line is possible.

i would not accept the truck back until that have definitively found the source of the initial leak and showed evidence that it was fixed....Lots of “band-aids” out there in the world of repair shops....especially when Toyota is involved
