New 2020 Gen IV?

Anyone know anything about a possible make over for the Tacoma for 2020? Seems there are rumors of a turbo diesel four at long last and additional upgrades to stay competitive with the Ford Ranger (Raptor) and popular diesel Colorado and Canyon trucks.

Let's see here Toyota, ahhh, you gave us RUST for Gen 1 and Gen 2 and a great wussified and gutless engine for Gen 3 (that still gets crap fuel economy) so what can you have up your sleeve for a Gen 4? How about something other than WiFi and plastic bumpers?

 

Gen 4...... a unibody, Prius motor and &4K battery pack, all around independent suspension, cvt transmission.
