New AlphaRex headlights (reflector style)

It is Alibaba, the product info is full of misinformation on that site. It isn’t where reputable manufactures sell things. The up swooped reflectors are very clearly fully integrated LED, not a replaceable bulb/halogen. The Q and A was talking about a different headlight they sell, as they sell halogen assemblies as well.

 

I think someone who’s gonna buy these (and not in a hurry) should have them shipped to @crashnburn80 first to test them, then let him ship them to you.
I really think the alpharex ones might be better quality than those Alibaba ones

Got an email about these from YotaGarage. Definitely interested although there doesn't seem to be a lot of reviews or information around AlphaRex's products. Wouldn't be surprised if they are just white label Chinese products but these do look better than the Alibaba ones ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Good suggestion, but people who buy headlights for the way they look instead of how they perform won't listen to science and cold hard facts. At least they're sort of good looking lights with crap output and durability.

 

Anyone buy them?
If so, let us know how the output is when you get em. Says they’ll ship first week of October.
I just spent more than that on a retrofit, so I’m happy, BUT if these have good output, I’d sell mine and replace with these. I love the look.

 

I purchased these on a whim, did a quick search of alpharex and they have a surprising of good reviews.

Once they come in I’ll try and get to a good review for everyone

I purchased the Black housing with smoked drl’s..they should start shipping by Monday. We will see.

 

Put on a pair of the Alibaba lights on my dads truck. No idea how they compare to the actual alpharex version. We had a set of the first style anzo dark tint lights but the output sucked. . The plastic seems a lot better than the Anzos (example, the mounting tabs are stronger, and anzos felt super weak)

The drl bar stays white and the turn signal is on the lower part of the headlight.

I saw these but was hesitant to purchase because I wasn’t sure if Anzo had ever made full LED housings prior to these ones. They do look nice on your truck though! Let me know how you like them over time. I went with the TRD Pro style ones from Depo. But eventually would like the full LED headlights.

this guy installed them but doesn’t show the output or anything. I skimmed through the comments and he said it’s about the same if not a bit brighter than diode dynamics sl1’s. I currently have those & they ain’t bright at all.

 

The SL1 in the Tacoma projector is lower output intensity than the stock halogen headlight bulb.

 

Learned the hard way lol. Leaning towards getting the retrofit headlights from kustom54 lighting.

 

plug and play? i've been browsing those on ebay and alibaba and they're about $500 cheaper than morimotos

 

Some people just want to look cool in their 2WD at the mall/Starbucks with their never used RTT and other add-ons that make the truck over max GVWR.

 

Yes, plug and play, at least on an Sr5.

A wiring harness came in the box which was needed to connect the drl plug from the truck wiring harness.

High and low plugged into the stock harness.

Awesome thanks. Pretty sure those are going to be my next headlights. With the money I save I can put it towards a new head unit.
