Just got off the phone with Scott at truckaddons.com and did the deal. Its still good yall. 650 for an 800$ cover is hard to beat and free ship. The email invoice said G2, but I don't supposed it really matters to me. looks like the main difference is heavier weight. The outlet website actually lists the G2 at higher price than the Fibermax, whatever that's worth.
One website said msrp at 859 and listed at 760.

Bak Flip bed cover, shorty antenna, Peripheral iPod interface, Garmin 750 mount, add'l bed tie down rings, Westin nerf bars, hitch safe, tailgate lock, Ideal 1 3/4" turn-key clamp to secure tailgate from removal, Spare tire security cable, spare tire stainless air hose extender, Fumoto oil drain valve, Amp Research Bed X-Tender w/Schlage Cable Lock, bed mat, Redline hood struts
My AMP Bed Extended sits on top of a bed mat, but even then I do agree, it should fit. When I installed my AMP, I was very careful to affix it so it was level. Nothing puglier than a "droopy bed extender" :D

Long story behind my BakFlip and them not covering it under warranty, a different time... I too hated losing the rails for tie down, but $20 at Home Depot and I've got something just as good for now and they'll be powder coated soon enough... They won't fit behind the rail, but are fine in front.

Talk about customer service. I was accepting the possibility that I might get the G2 instead of the Max and Scott saw my post above and gave me a call. He's gonna make sure I am shipped the proper product.
    Props to Scott from truckaddons.com

the lip (rear) on my fibermax is already curled up after 90 days...so it is no longer water proof and easier to break into...

Snap a pic and send it in to their warranty email address and just ask about it. They were very good to me when I did that about some shipping damage.

I hate to lose my deck rail system. What are my options for a trifold cover?

Yep PopNLock ftw, snap to install. BakFlip works perfect under my Yakima rack setup.

I removed the bed rail covers and installed Yakima tracks with Plusnuts. I used thin flashing and gorilla glue to cover factory sheet metal holes and then taped off and bedlined. This way I'll be able to knock out the covers and return to factory setup easily and add tracks to next Taco.
Plusnuts work awesome and very easy BTW.
The top pic you can see a round projection from the rear of the bedrail. The BakFlip is obviously made to use in conjunction with factory plastic rail covers so I had a big gap along the edge after install. To fix this I cut some old air compressor hose (black rubber) and tucked along edge and helps seal and looks great too.

I ordered my FiberMax the other day from TruckAddOns and can't wait til it gets here (on the 12th). I just have to give props to that company. The two people I talked to (one of them being Scott), were both very helpful and polite. It's nice to know companies out there still care about their customers. Thanks again.

Airun, do you have the rear backup camera on your truck? I was wondering if the PopNLock can be used with vehicles that have the camera.

I have a poplock for mine with the backup camera. the only difference was the camera is on the right with pop and lock and it was on the left with the orginal.
