Got my FiberMax in a few days ago and have been working on it for a couple of days (it doesn't take that long, I just have a boat anchor [aka an infant] to deal with so I can only get in some time here and there.) I must say after installing this cover I can't say enough good things about it. I ordered it from TruckAddOns and got a deal for $689 with free shipping (it's a long bed version). And I also can't say enough good things about them as well. Very friendly and helpful.

After I received the cover, I went about beginning the install. Like many other people, the first thing I noticed was the "instructions" (and I hestitate to call them that) are absolutely useless. It's a waste of a perfectly good piece of paper. Thankfully, it's not difficult to install and the YouTube video is about all you need. Everything went in fairly easily. There was a little bit of tweaking involved to get the cover to line up and snap closed just right, but that was simple to accomplish. I drilled the drain holes using a step bit (the perfect hole size is 13/16" if anyone is curious). I decided not to used the factory holes as I figured if any water did get in there (like when the cover was open) it would still be able to drain out. That was about it for the install. Pretty easy, I think. I'm going to be working on something else to be able to have something to tie down to again. I've seen a couple of solutions on here and may incorporate pieces of those. Overall, I'd have to recommend the FiberMax to anyone.

My Fibermax Bakflip looks great on the truck, but the only time I trust that it won't leak is when it's sitting inside the garage. I've checked the alignment and adjusted it multiple times but it still leaks at the back corners. Very disappointing...

Bought it from Autopartsway.... but they only sent 1 box and won't help me out. They told me contact bakflip but when i contacted them, they said they don't honor the warranty products from Autopartsway and I would just have to buy a whole new one. So now I'm stuck.

Any help or direction from anyone would be awesome as I'm already out $700

Oh geez, you need to hound Bak relentlessly until they send u rails. That's crazy ...I wonder why they'd ship in 2 boxes.

man, Bakflip customer service sucks big time..... I swear, I hope they go out of business. I called them and told them my story and even told them I would pay for the replacement rails, and the said no, I have to buy the entire Bakflip package. Then the dude just hung up on me.

It's not like they have to open the package. The bakflip comes in 2 packages, I just need one of those packages with the rails. I will never recommend anything from Bakflip and will make it a point to talk to anyone about not buying their products from now on.

i really wanted one of these they would be really easy to access the bed and they look pretty nice. i ended up going with an under cover se for its ability to really seal out the weather and support weight.

Technically not mods but give me a break I'm trying to fill space here... OEM Leather pkg, keyless unlock & ACC chime silence, BakFlip G2, Ultra Gauge EM, WeatherTech floor mats, OEM roof rack
yeah something isn't right about that deal.. Mine came in one box. Either that dealer is screwing you or one pkg got lost in shipping. You should fire off a few emails to the Bak contact list on their site. I had a small piece broken in shipping, and emailed them with a pic and explanation.. They sent out a replacement part right away on their dime. Couldn't have asked for better service. Your story of dealing with them on the phone blows me away. I'd be furious too.
The owner of the company even has his email address on their contact list. You should give it a shot.. I've heard good things.

Sounds like Bak and Autopartsway aren't seeing eye to eye perhaps
